My prefernces were set up as above.
For the "Audio Format" I had a choice of 2.
Out of curiosity I tried twice with different formats chosen.

The first choice was the "WAVE" format and in the second test I chose the "AIFF-C" format.
When all was done, I must say I did not notice any difference!
