After choosing "Save" I went through the standard procedure of naming the file and destination.
By the way, you are not seeing things, some of the on screen information is in Japanese. This is because I have MC installed on XP Pro (Japanese).
An added challenge in my learning curve...........

The exported Quick Time Reference files come in pairs.
a "MOV" and a "WAV" file. Or in the other case a "MOV" and an "AIF" file.

Next I close MC. I then close my Japanese XP Pro and take out the caddy with my "C-drive" and exchange it for my other C-drive caddy with English XP Pro and all my extra programmes.
