These pairs of files ( xxxx.m2v and xxxx.ac3) are 100% compatible with DVDitPro.
I
have a directory on a media storage drive where I collect these files.
Gradually I am building up a library of all my video productions.
I can use these files to re-author different disc compilations.
When a new compilation is ready and I go to "Burn / Write disc image" the files swish straight through DVDitPro - no need for any transcoding.
For me it is a timesaver without parallel.
I know that many think it is better transcoding before bringing the material into DVDitPro and hoping that the files will swish through.....
But I also know many are disappointed to see that their files are being transcoded anyway - because they missed some parameter setting in their 3rd Party encoding software.
It is, of course, up to each and all to choose what they prefer.
I just wanted to explain the method that suits me best.
Then it is on to burning the Blu-Ray disc.
